For the “Breaking Bad” fans

My husband loves the television series “Breaking Bad.” He managed to find a way to watch it every week throughout the end of its final season this summer, even though we were driving cross-country. Personally, I prefer happy TV shows, which Breaking Bad is not. But when Dave requested that we stop in Albuquerque to hunt down some of the sites where Breaking Bad is filmed, I didn’t mind. With some help from our friend Jared, we managed to track down quite a few of the filming locations. We spent our day in Albuquerque getting a car wash at the car wash, skulking around a private home (although the owners were bonkers to choose to live in a home where a hit TV show was filmed), and then driving around sketchy parts of Albuquerque looking for broken down apartments and disgusting motels. It was quite an interesting way to tour the most populated city in New Mexico. Here are some photos from our Albuquerque Breaking Bad tour:
